The event hosted on the 16 September 2020, we had over 156 participants that attended the event, The event was also meant to establish a proper working relation with the community and relevant stakeholders.

Our topic of discussion on the day was:

– HIV/AIDS

– Family Planning

– Use of Condoms

– Breastfeeding

We had a huge number of AYGW and most of them with children between 0-9 Months, we also spoke about the importance of breastfeeding, How to breastfeed and when to start feeding a child solid food.

Ausi Suzan from Broadway Legacy Foundation focused on Breastfeeding, While Kgaugelo Mogoto and the care givers from the local Clinic focused on HIV/AIDS, the use of Condoms and family planning.

The ladies requested that we have such events on a weekly basis as such information has never reached them since now with Broadway Legacy Foundation in Masakaneng.

10 November 2020, International Men’s day.

CMR and Broadway Legacy Foundation celebrated the day with 30 Men from Magagamatala village through a dialogue, tackling issues of Human Rights, GBV, Parenting and Involvement of men in the communities.

24 November 2020, Our Stakeholder Consultative Meeting ,held in Groblersdal was a success, with over 20 participants from SAPS,SWAHAT, Broadway Legacy, AIDS Council, Thuthuzela Care Centre, Child Line, LGBTI+ , Crime & Prevention Unit.

26 November 2020- Outreach at Groblerdal Mall with SAPS

As we engage with people from all over the sub district( Motetema,Tafelkop, Dennilton) we spoke about Children’s Rights, Break the silence on Sexual Offences, Break the silence on Domestic  Violence and Human Rights.

28 November 2020-Human Rights and GBV (AYGW and AYBM)

Our Zero Stigma and Discrimination talk was divided into groups:We had 120 people that attended the event ,Adults: 32, AYGW: 31,AYBM:22 and Children: 35. Together with our stakeholder Thuthuzela Childline.
